• Springline at District 60 Breaks Ground: The $210 million first phase of the Springline at District 60 mixed-use development is now underway. The project will transform the old and underutilized Spring Rock Green shopping center into a vibrant new urban village with apartments, retail, and office space. The first phase is scheduled to be completed in 2025.
• Collins Enterprises Invests in Springline at District 60: Collins Enterprises has been selected as the key developer for the residential and commercial properties at Springline at District 60. Collins will invest $75 million to develop 300 residential units, 27,000 square feet of commercial space, and a secure parking facility in the first phase of the project.
• Capital Square Relocates to New Headquarters:Glen Allen-based real estate company Capital Square has relocated to a new, expanded corporate headquarters in Henrico County's Innsbrook area. The new headquarters features a larger office space, training facilities, and updated technology.
• Chesterfield Economic Development Authority Launches New Website: The Chesterfield Economic Development Authority (EDA) has launched a new website that provides information about the county's business environment, resources, and incentives. The website also makes it easy for businesses to submit relocation or expansion requests.
• Midlothian Farmers Market Opens for the Season: The Midlothian Farmers Market is now open for the season. The market is held every Saturday from 9am to 1pm at Midlothian High School. Visitors can find a variety of fresh produce, meats, cheeses, and other local products at the market.
